Applications and Resources for Idaho Sites
Through a partnership with MIT and NASA, the Idaho AfterSchool Network is honored to again connect Idaho out-of-school program providers and school districts with a fun and out-of-this world curriculum for middle school students this summer (June 12 - July 21, 2017).
Zero Robotics is a computer programming competition for middle school students. Students will learn to control satellites aboard the International Space Station this summer. Zero cost for the curriculum, training or technical support. Zero experience needed for staff or students.
All you need to participate is a team, a mentor and access to computers and the internet. Finalists go head-to-head against teams from across the country, and astronauts referee the competition live from space!
Interested in getting your middle schooler engaged? Once our sites are selected, we will notify you to see if there will be one close for you to attend this summer. Incoming 6th - 9th graders are eligible. Sorry, no guarantees.
