Medicaid/CHIP Informational Webinar
With all the headlines these days, there is a lot of confusion and uncertainty about healthcare for Idaho's families. Because out-of-school program providers have the opportunity to develop unique relationships with families, the confusion and challenges families are facing may surface in discussion with parents, or even youth (or perhaps you too are spinning trying to keep up with it all).
Join us for a short webinar (less than 30 minutes) and get up to speed on these issues. Our guest, Hillarie Hagen, Outreach Specialist form Idaho Voices for Children, will provide the 101 about federal and state policy changes that may affect healthcare options for Idaho Families, especially CHIP or Medicaid, and how families can still access these programs. Plus, learn about current efforts to represent the voices of working families that are struggling to access affordable healthcare.
Idaho Voices for Children is an Idaho non-profit committed to advocating for state policies that promote the interests and well-being of children. Voices works to resolve issues facing Idaho’s children in the areas of health, education, safety, and economic security. They raise awareness of issues through data driven research and partnerships, educate policymakers, and bring together the power of community to help identify and resolve problems facing Idaho’s children and families.
