21st CCLCs help students study and supports families
I have worked in the middle school with the supplemental study hall program for many years[which is part of our 21st CCLC program]. I believe that it is a valuable program.
It is a safe, quiet place for the students to work and receive help with their homework. This program is also for students to get caught up with work that they have neglected to turn in. I am sure that families are thankful their child has this opportunity to be successful. Families have many struggles to deal with today and often times our student population gets caught in the middle. These programs are necessary to ensure that all students receive the best from all of us!
